GRDprocess Sàrl is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data may be collected and processed when you visit our website or contact us.

The website currently serves primarily to present our activities and research. It does not currently provide online purchasing or subscription services.

A future AI evaluation survey will be covered by a separate Survey Privacy Notice, made available before the survey begins collecting responses. That notice will explain how responses, optional contact details and communication preferences are processed.

3. Information We Process

Website access and technical logs

When you visit the website, technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, access time, browser details and error information may be processed by our hosting infrastructure.

This is necessary to deliver the website, troubleshoot technical issues and protect the service.

Our website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, a Swiss hosting provider whose website-hosting infrastructure is located in Switzerland.

Website security

We use security tools, including Wordfence Security and Really Simple Security, to help detect and prevent unauthorized access, malicious requests and other abuse.

Security records can include IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and information about blocked activity.

Wordfence’s Live Traffic feature is configured to log security-related traffic only, retain a maximum of 2,000 entries and remove entries after 30 days at the latest.

The entry limit may cause older records to be removed sooner. Other security records and server logs may be subject to different retention periods.

Audience statistics

We use WP Statistics to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its content and operation.

The plugin is configured to anonymize and hash IP addresses. Tracking of signed-in WordPress users is disabled, and complete browser user-agent strings are not stored by this plugin.

Detailed WP Statistics records are configured to be aggregated after 30 days.

Following aggregation, summary visitor and page-view totals may be kept for longer periods, while detailed records are deleted according to the plugin’s aggregation process.

Email correspondence

If you contact us, we process the name, email address, message and any information you choose to provide to respond to your inquiry and manage relevant professional correspondence.

We use Google Gmail for email communications.

Google may process email-related data outside Switzerland, including in the United States and other countries where its services operate.

Please avoid sending sensitive or confidential information by ordinary email unless an appropriate secure method has been agreed.

4. Why We Process Personal Data

We process personal data as necessary to:

  • Provide, maintain and protect the website
  • Detect, investigate and prevent misuse or security incidents
  • Produce limited website usage statistics and improve the site
  • Respond to messages and manage professional correspondence
  • Meet applicable legal obligations

GRDprocess Sàrl processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, revised in 2023) and its implementing ordinance.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, good faith, proportionality, purpose limitation, transparency, and data security.

Where consent is required, it is obtained for the specific processing activities concerned.

Where the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to particular processing activities, GRDprocess Sàrl also complies with the relevant GDPR requirements.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Service Providers and International Processing

We use the following categories of service providers:

  • Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland): website hosting and related technical services
  • Google (Gmail): professional email communications
  • Security software providers, including Wordfence: website protection and related security services, where their external services are used

Our website hosting is located in Switzerland.

Some email or security-related data may be processed outside Switzerland, notably in the United States.

Transfers are subject to applicable data protection requirements, including appropriate safeguards where legally required.

We may also disclose data where legally required to do so.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our current website statistics setup does not rely on advertising or visitor-tracking cookies.

A check of the public homepage in a private browser session on 31 October 2026 did not detect cookies.

This check does not establish that every page or feature is cookie-free.

WordPress administration, security functions or future interactive features may use cookies or similar browser storage where necessary.

We will review these technologies when new functions are introduced, including the planned survey.

The separate Cookie Policy will provide additional information about their purposes and, where relevant, available choices.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above or to meet applicable legal obligations.

  • WP Statistics: detailed data are configured for aggregation after 30 days; aggregate totals may be retained longer
  • Wordfence Live Traffic: no more than 2,000 entries and a maximum of 30 days, whichever limit is reached first
  • Hosting and other security logs: retained according to operational and security requirements and the applicable provider settings
  • Email correspondence: retained for as long as needed to handle the communication, maintain a relevant professional relationship or meet legal record-keeping obligations

When the planned survey is launched, its data retention periods and procedures will be explained separately in the Survey Privacy Notice.

8. Data Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect data, including encrypted website connections (HTTPS), access controls and website security tools.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on the law applicable to your situation, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal data concerning you
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data
  • Object to certain processing activities
  • Request restriction of processing or data portability, where applicable
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
